Storyline;
After
the events of Captain America; Civil War, King T'Challa returns home
to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda
to serve as his country's new leader. However T'Challa soon finds
that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own
country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as
Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. Agent Everett K. Ross and
members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent
Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.
Thoughts;
I am glad that I saw this
movie, I wish I would have been able to watch it before the previous
Avengers movie as it would have made much more sense.
This received strong good
ratings and it was a good movie. There were just some parts that I
had gotten lost at, I think it may have to do with some of the names
of characters.
Since in the beginning
there was so much, real world/wakanda swapping I am not sure exactly
where everything started, but the characters were great and the
action was awesome!
The CIA operative was
also a character that really wasn't needed, it was a weird thing to
have him in there.
The king of Wakanda is
killed, his son is to take over the throne. There is a ceremony and
people I guess can challenge him. Someone does and he wins. Then
someone who says his is from Wakanda makes his way there and
challenges for the crown, fights dirty and wins.
Soon, everyone thinks
that T'Challa is dead but he really isn't, he was saved. Once he is
healed with the help of his mother, sister and the CIA agent, he is
able to take back Wakanda

Storyline;
Dr.
Paul Kersey (Bruce Willis) is a surgeon who only sees the aftermath

Thoughts;
I had never heard of the
original, I wasn't aware that this was a re-make.
Bruce Willis plus a shoot
em' up movie usually is good and this movie did not disappoint. The
plot was good. I wish Elisabeth Shue played a longer role, however it
was still great!
The movie starts out a
little slow, with Dr. Kersey at work, as a trauma surgeon. After a
bit it cuts to the family eating dinner and Dr. Kersey paying the
valet for his brother. He notices the tattoo on the valets arm and
comments on it. When the valet then goes to get the Dr's car, you see
him take a picture of the GPS showing where their home is.
Later Dr. Kersey is
called into work and the daughter and wife set out to make a cake for
Dr. Kersey's birthday. Lucy asked Jordan to get her Ipad from
upstairs, she then notices a window open and is calling for her
daughter to come down, of course teenagers don't listen and before
you know it, a man comes out and brings her downstairs with a gun to
her head. Lucy agrees to open the safe and give them whatever they
want. While she is taken upstairs the other two are told to tie up
Jordan. One lays his knife on the counter and goes to the garage for
rope. The other man starts to get handsey and Jordan takes the knife
and stabs him in the face, once he takes off his mask you know it's
all over.
From here Dr. Kersey goes
rogue when he figures out that the detectives aren't doing anything,
or not enough. He seeks out his wife's killer.

book wasn't as good as the first and was harder to read.
This
book talked about all the things that happened to Anita and her son
at their home after cleaning out Paul's house.
