bored during this movie. It was ok and just ok. There was one
time that I actually jumped

Plot Summary;

In
1952 Romania, two Roman Catholic nuns living at the Saint Cartha's
monastery are attacked by an unseen force when they enter a tunnel to
retrieve an ancient Christian relic. The surviving nun, Sister
Victoria, flees from the attacker, a demon appearing as a nun, and
hangs herself. Her body is discovered by Frenchie, a villager who
transports supplies to the nuns. The Vatican learns of the incident
and summons Father Burke to Rome, where they ask him to travel with
Sister Irene, a nun in her novitiate, to Romania in order to
investigate the situation. While Sr. Irene is teaching children the
relationship between religion and science in a school, her Mother
Superior interrupts her and informs her that Burke has arrived in
order to request Irene's accompaniment in his trip to Romania. The
pair travel to Romania and meet with Frenchie, who leads them to the
abbey. They discover Victoria's body and remove a key from her
corpse. Inside, they encounter the Abbess, who informs them that the
nuns observe a period of silence during the night and offers them
lodging at the attached convent if they wish to return the next day.
Frenchie is attacked by a demon as he returns to the village, but
escapes. Burke tells Irene that a boy he exorcised, Daniel, was
fatally injured during the exorcism, and Burke has carried the burden
of the boy's death with him ever since. Irene reveals that as a girl,
she had visions particularly of a nun, causing the Church to take an
interest in her. Burke is rescued by Irene after being buried alive
in the graveyard by the demonic entity.

So,
I'm still on the fence on if this is all real or just a great hoax. I
believe ghost's do exist and some are bad, some are good.
This
book was amazing, real or not, this was a good read that I just
couldn't put down. I admittedly saw the movie when it came out,
however was unaware of the book. I realize that movies dramatize
things, so this book wasn't as intense as the movie, but if these
people who are real actually went through all this I feel for them.

that she saw Art die. As she speaks, a person (revealed to be Art
himself) destroys the television set through which he is witnessing
the televised interview. Art dresses himself in clown makeup and
assembles a bag of crude weapons with which to begin a night of
massacre.

young women, Tara and Dawn, are walking down a sidewalk to their car
after an evening of partying. Both having drunk excessively, Tara and

unless you want to be board for 2 hours. Don't watch this movie
unless you like to be confused. Don't watch this movie unless you
want the movie to end leaving open ended plot lines.
The movie starts with a
flash back of a man checking into the hotel and putting a red bag
under the floor. We then cut to about 20 years later, 4 people are
checking into the hotel. They are waiting in the lobby ringing the
bell trying to get checked in. Once they are all checked
in, they go to their respective rooms. We learn that one of them is
not who he says. One of them kidnapped someone and the other two seem
to just be there. Then things go south. The
movie goes one by one showing the back stories of the guests. It ends
with almost everyone dead and it was just all in all boring.
Plot Summary;

1969, Catholic priest Daniel Flynn, singer Darlene Sweet, salesman
Laramie Seymour Sullivan, and sarcastic Emily Summerspring arrive at
the El Royale, where they meet the hotel's only employee, Miles
Miller. Upon checking into the honeymoon suite, Sullivan (in reality
an FBI agent named Dwight Broadbeck, sent to investigate the hotel
and remove evidence of their operations) discovers a passageway
leading into a corridor looking onto one-way mirrors in each of the
hotel's rooms, as well as a 16mm camera setup. Broadbeck witnesses an
apparent kidnapping in progress in Emily's room; he is instructed to
not to interfere with the kidnapping, and to sabotage the guests'
vehicles to prevent any of them from escaping. Meanwhile, Flynn
invites Sweet to join him for dinner. She sees him drugging her drink
and knocks him unconscious with a bottle, running out of the hotel to
escape. Miles finds Flynn and reveals to him the secret passageway,
afterwards explaining that "management" has instructed him
to film the guests and send the footage to them. However, he chose to
hold back one particularly incriminating film reel of a recently
deceased public figure..
