Storyline;

Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul, The Post, Nebraska) stars as Hutch Mansell, an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, taking life's indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody. When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence. His teenage son, Blake (Gage Munroe, The Shack), is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen, Wonder Woman), seems to pull only further away. The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch's long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary (famed Russian actor Aleksey Serebryakov, Amazon's McMafia)-and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again

Thoughts;

What a change from Better Call Sal! Based on the preview you know where this is going but then you watch this and it's truly awesome

You can feel his mundane life getting old, but without knowing of his old life you can't understand exactly what feels off. His marriage is falling apart, his oldest son seems to be feeling everything. One night changes everything, all it takes is a break in for things to go back to “normal” for Hutch, then everything falls into place and this movie goes.

If you like John Wick and movies like that, you will really like this

Plot Summary; CAUTION; Major Spoiler Alert

Hutch Mansell is a seemingly ordinary man; he has two children with his wife Becca, has an unremarkable job as an office worker in his father-in-law Eddie's metal fabrication company, and generally keeps to himself. The tedium of his life is slowly grinding on him, he and his wife have not been intimate in years, and his son Blake has no respect for him. Only his daughter, Sammy, shows him any affection.

One night, a man and woman break into his house and hold him at gunpoint, demanding money. Hutch gives them his watch, but when they try to leave, Blake tackles one of them. Hutch is about to attack them with a golf club, but stops himself and lets them get away, resulting in Blake getting a black eye. The incident causes Blake to drift even further away from his father, and everyone in Hutch's life, from his neighbor to his brother-in-law at work, asks him why he did not try to stop the burglars. Hutch contacts his supposedly deceased half-brother Harry on a hidden radio in his office and explains that he held back as the burglars were desperate, scared, and using an unloaded gun.

Later that day, Sammy asks her father for help finding her bracelet, which Hutch believes the thieves took. Without saying a word, he goes to see his elderly father David, and borrows his old FBI badge and gun to track down the burglars. He finds their apartment and threatens them, but when he realizes they robbed him to get money to pay for their sick baby's medical treatment, he leaves in shame. The bus he takes home is stopped by a gang of Russian thugs, and Hutch takes out his frustration by savagely beating all of them. When one of them is having trouble breathing after getting hit in the neck, he saves his life by a makeshift tracheostomy using a drinking straw.

Harry then sends him to see a man referred to only as "The Barber", who provides Hutch with information about one of his victims: he is the younger brother of Yulian Kuznetsov, a notorious Russian mob enforcer. Although Yulian despises his brother, he feels an obligation to avenge him and sends a crew led by his right-hand man Pavel to attack Hutch at home. Hutch hides his family and kills most of the attackers before Pavel subdues him with a taser and puts him in the trunk of a car to take him to Yulian. Finding a fire extinguisher in the trunk, Hutch uses it to blind his abductors, causing the car to crash, killing Pavel. He returns home, sends Becca and the children away to a safe location, and, after rounding up what's left of Yulian's crew, he discovers Sammy's kitty cat bracelet where it was all along: at the base of his stereo & FM radio equipment.

He then sets his house on fire to destroy any evidence.

It is then explained that Hutch is a former "auditor", an assassin employed by intelligence agencies to kill people who were considered untouchable or too difficult to arrest. He did his work diligently until he let a target he was supposed to kill for embezzling U.S. government funds go free. Returning a year later, Hutch found the man had built a new life and family for himself; wanting a life akin to his, Hutch decided to retire against the wishes of his superiors, and since then has done everything possible to suppress any memory of his old life.

After giving Eddie a stash of gold bars to buy his company from him, Hutch burns Yulian's art collection and the Obshak money he was protecting for the mob, telling him that he can either choose to come after him or he can take what he has left and flee. Yulian angrily calls up every man on his payroll and pursues Hutch to the factory, where David and Harry show up to help Hutch eliminate the gangsters using a variety of weapons and deadly traps Hutch had set up. They kill all of the gunmen with the exception of Yulian, who shoots and wounds Harry; Hutch charges him with a Claymore mine attached to a bulletproof shield and detonates it, killing Yulian. He lets his father and brother escape, and is arrested by the police, only to be quickly released with no charges filed.

Three months later, while buying a new house with Becca, Hutch receives a call suggesting that his services are still required. In a mid-credits scene, Harry and David are shown driving to an undisclosed location in an RV filled with guns

The Woman in the Window

Rating; R for violence and language

IMDB Rating; 5.7/10

Caution; Spoiler Alert

Staring;

Amy Adams as Anna Fox

Fred Hechinger as Ethan Russell

Gary Oldman as Alistair Russell

Julianne Moore as Jane Russel 1 (Katie)

Jennifer Jason Leigh as Jane Russel 2

Wyatt Russell as David

Brian Tyree Henry as Detective Little

Jeanine Serralles as Detective Norelli

Anthony Mackie as Ed

Mariah Nozeman as Olivia

Storyline;

Living in denial, the depressed, pill-popping child psychologist, Anna Fox, has holed herself up in her eerily vacant, ill-lit Manhattan brownstone apartment for the past ten long months, separated from her husband and their eight-year-old daughter. While unsuccessfully grappling with agoraphobia and intense panic attacks, suddenly, the Russells move in across the street, and brimming with curiosity, Anna decides to distract attention away from her problems by peeking into the lives of the unsuspecting new tenants. Then, one night, tensions flare, a deadly kitchen knife gleams in the dim light, and before long, someone ends up dead. Has troubled Anna, indeed, witnessed a gruesome scene of blood-stained domestic violence or is her wine-addled mind playing cruel tricks on her?

Thoughts;

This movie messes with your head. Amy Adams play crazy very well. The entire movie all I kept thinking about was what made her afraid to leave her house.

We learn that Anna watches what goes on in her neighborhood. She starts spying on her new neighbors and quickly figures out something isn't right.

This is a really good movie. Just when you think it's over, it isn't.

Plot Summary; CAUTION; Major Spoiler Alert

Child psychologist Anna Fox (Amy Adams) lives alone in a Manhattan brownstone apartment after becoming separated from her husband Edward; he lives away with their daughter Olivia, but she talks to them on a daily basis. Anna suffers from agoraphobia, and her housebound state leads her to observe all of her neighbours from a second-story window, including the Russell family who have recently moved in across the street. Anna takes a large number of medication and drinks alcohol daily.

One evening, Jane Russell (Julianne Moore) visits Anna and they befriend one another over wine and a game of cards. Ethan (Fred Hechinger), Jane's teenage son, also comes over to introduce himself to Anna, who suggests his father Alistair (Gary Oldman) is often abusive towards his family. One night, Anna witnesses Jane being stabbed to death in the living room. She contacts the police but they do not believe her, claiming everyone in the family is fine. Alistair arrives along with "Jane" (Jennifer Jason Leigh) who, to the shock of Anna, is a different woman to the one she met. She begins spying on the Russell family.

Anna's tenant David (Wyatt Russell) lives downstairs in her basement, and claims he did not hear or see anything from the night the original Jane was supposedly murdered, though Anna later finds her earring in his bedroom and learns David was once in prison and has broken his bail conditions. Anna then receives an anonymous e-mail containing a photo of her sleeping. She contacts the detectives again, who are soon joined by the Russells and David, where she has a nervous breakdown. It is revealed that Edward and Olivia are dead as a result of a car accident that Anna accidentally caused; she is now agoraphobic as a result and her medication causes her to have hallucinations and conversations with people who are not really there.

Anna apologises to the Russell family and admits she was wrong. She stops pursuing her suspicions and later records a video on her cell phone, planning to end her life by suicide by taking an overdose. Anna then discovers a photograph she took on her phone of her cat and, in the reflection of a wine glass, is the original Jane, proving she is real. Anna shows David the photo and he confesses the original Jane she met is a woman named Katie Meli, Ethan's birth mother. Katie had been stalking the Russell family, trying to get close to Ethan, hence why they had to move to Manhattan. David refuses to corroborate Katie's existence to prove Anna's story when he is suddenly attacked by Ethan, who had been lurking in the apartment.

Ethan reveals to Anna that he murdered Katie and is a budding serial killer, having also killed Alistair's secretary in Boston, and says he intends to kill Anna as well. He had been letting himself into her apartment all week with a stolen key, and he was the one who took the photo of her sleeping. Anna attacks Ethan and flees to the apartment roof where they fight until Anna pushes Ethan through the skylight to his death.

As Anna recovers in the hospital, Detective Little states they have arrested Alistair and Jane for helping Ethan cover up Katie's murder. Little admits he watched Anna's video but hands her back her phone to allow her to delete it before she has to return it as evidence. He also sincerely apologises to Anna for not believing her.

Nine months later, Anna, now sober, says her last goodbyes to the apartment and to her late family before she moves out and on with her life.

I didn't order a ton, only the 5 cups. This vendor doesn't seem to offer a lot at each re-stock and this is actually my first order. I have had plenty of salt mountain but it's always been by de-stash or through my friend Jennifer.

I wouldn't say this vendor is hard to get but her pre-order's are generally limited with only a few scents are only open for a short period of time. Her RTS sales are hunger games style and it's not worth it for me to try.

Everything always smells great and I have zero issues with this vendor's product

I always give this vendor an A for product and a D for packaging, although it seems like this order was wrapped a little better than the previous order as nothing was leaking.

I really like the sugar scrubs and lotions. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth.

This was a strawberry pre-order. I ordered this on 5/27 and received it on 6/21. I choose to order all 20 scents vs picking and choosing what scents I wanted.

Based on the fact that it was shipped in a bag and the heat everything showed up a little rough which is fine, I will just bust it up and melt it anyway.

She uses a Beeswax Soy wax blend and it throws strongly in my house.

Movie; The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021) Caution; Spoiler Alert

The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard

Came out; 2021

Time; 1 hour 39 minutes

Watched in; Movie Theatre

Rating; R for strong bloody violence throughout, pervasive language and some sexual content

IMDB Rating; 6.5/10

Caution; Spoiler Alert

Staring;

Ryan Reynolds as Michael Bryce

Samuel L. Jackson as Darius Kincaid

Rebecca Front as Therapist

Salma Hayek as Sonia Kincaid

Antonio Banderas as Aristotle Papdapolous

Miltos Yerolemou as Carlo

Morgan Freeman as Senior Bryce

Storyline;

The world's most lethal odd couple - bodyguard Michael Bryce and hitman Darius Kincaid - are back on another life-threatening mission. Still unlicensed and under scrutiny, Bryce is forced into action by Darius's even more volatile wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid. As Bryce is driven over the edge by his two most dangerous protectees, the trio get in over their heads in a global plot and soon find that they are all that stand between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman. Joining in the fun and deadly mayhem is Morgan Freeman as - well, you'll have to see

Thoughts;

This movie was just as fun as the first one. Selma's character was in prison the first time so we didn't get to see a ton of her “crazy” but she really shines in this one. I love her, she can do so many things and is a great actress.

Even in the first movie I felt bad for Ryan's character, he just can't catch a break! All he wants to do is be a triple A body guard and he just can't seem to be good at it. This movie we learn why and it all works out for him in the end.

If you liked the first movie I would recommend this one, it's fun, action packed and who cares about the weird cyber attack plot line anyway?!

Plot Summary; CAUTION; Major Spoiler Alert

None Listed

**Edit

I literally can not believe how many people have viewed this. I don't see any comments and I generally don't like to give out much information as it gives up too much of the movie. If you would like me to go into more detail, please let me know and I will!
