Dear Reader,
I follow “Chronic Pain & Crps/RDS – Keeping it Real” on Facebook and this poped up today. It made me think about how I dread mornings.
I didn't use to. I was on pain medication that worked ok. I took one before bed, I slept better and woke up better. However, I was accused of taking too much (even though I never did) and was taken off. Ever since then I dread waking up.
I wake up stiff, not feeling good and it takes me an hour to get going. The problem with that is I wake up and go directly to work since I work at home.
I googled “Waking up in pain” and it has many different causes. Mattress, Sleep position, diet, weight and underlying health conditions.
I personally have a good mattress; I can't help my sleep position. My diet is so-so, I am not even close to being overweight so what's left. Underlying health conditions. My test results are normal so what does that exactly mean?
It's just something in an ever-growing list of how I feel. It sucks to be ignored. It sucks to be so tired and then just to lay in bed every night not being able to fall asleep because your in pain, then you finally get to sleep and wake up in worst pain.
Do you experience this? What works for you?
