Thoughts;
I didn’t know when this came out that it was a book before it
was a movie. I wanted to watch it even
though it was a sappy movie and I generally don’t like those. I ended up
getting the book as a prize winning and read it. It was pretty good.
I generally will look up the movies as I’m watching them to
see who the actors are. Immediately I found it strange that they cast Shailene
and Ansel as “love interests” in this movie when they were brother and sister
in the Divergent series.
The movie follows very closely with the book. There are
always little things that need to be cut when turning a book into a movie,
books can give us more small details. This movie was already pretty long as
most movies are now. It followed pretty close to the book, it was really good
and the characters played it beautifully.
