Nette's Thoughts: March 2018 Empties

I have started putting wax in all my warmers! I generally change out all the upstairs one every other day and the downstairs one daily. It’s still a little hard for me to keep track of what’s melting BUT this is a challenge for me so I’m all over it.

There are several warmers in the house, all of different types.

Candles;

I generally only burn candles in my living room and office, but I seem to go through them!

Kushner Kreations;

Scent; Woodland Berry

Scent Description; Crisp pine needles, rich fir balsam, sweet berries, warm spices and patchouli are surrounded by vanilla musk

Thoughts; This was a very nice musky/berry scent. The candle burned perfectly and it was super strong

Scent; Grape Slushie Gummy Bears

Scent Description; Indulge yourself with this effervescent aroma of Kyoho grapes intermingled with fresh peaches, pineapple, raspberries, and strawberries on a dry down of vanilla and Just open up a bag and take a deep breath! Will take you back to your childhood.

Thoughts; This wasn't as strong as I would have liked, it was good though

Wicked Wax of the East;

Scent; Pink Sugar

Scent Description; A fruity blend of cotton candy, lemon drops, caramel and raspberry jam on a dry down of musks

Thoughts; This was super strong. Granted it was poured in October, but it threw like crazy and was so good!

Creative Enchantment

Scent; Sweet Vanilla Honey

Scent Description; Sugar sweet vanilla with a touch of rich wildflower Honey. (this scent contains Sweet vanilla sugar)

Thoughts; This is one of my favorite scents! This candle seemed to burn hotter than her candles normally do so I had placed it in the kitchen. It's amazing, I love this

Scent; Vanilla Scone

Scent Description; None that I could find

Thoughts; This was a decent vanilla. It was more vanilla than a bakery vanilla and although strong the scent didn't carry

Thoughts; This was a cute little 4 ounce candle, I burned it in my office and it smelled amazing. It was very cookie scented, but so very good.

Thoughts; This was a really good scent blend. It wasn't very strong but the cake and sugar blended toether with the sherbet to make it a fruity cake scent

Scent; Big Red

Scent Description; Cherry Bomb Red Lipstick VBN

Thoughts; This scent is right up my alley. I love this blend. This tart however was not very strong. I am not sure why as others I've had have preformed great. I tried this is several warmers and truly didn't get anything.

Thoughts; This wasn't real strong. The Dreamsickle seemed dominant but the other scents blended in really nice

Thoughts; This was pretty good, it wasn't very strong and didn't seem to last long, but it had a slight fruity smell to it

Thoughts; This did smell like a sweet tea. It was pretty good and preformed very well althought this scent didn't seem to be long lasting

Thoughts; This was a loaf that I had purchased some time ago (dated 5/2/17) and it took me forever to get through it, it was so good and amazing. This was a strong long lasting scent

MK's Scented Treats

Scent; Blue Raspberry Slushie

Scent Description; Ripened Raspberries, sugary cotton candy and the effervenscence of crushed ice

Thoughts; This seemed to preform the best in a T-Light Warmer, the throw on it was amazing. In my Glade warmers the throw was there but lighter and my scentsy warmers were too warm and the scent fizzled out pretty quick. The wax is good you just have to watch what warmer you use.

Scent; Poseidon

Scent Description; A sexy, fresh, aquatic aroma with bergamot, neroli and tangerine. Flowing into mid notes of rosemary, jasmine, and persimmon; all sitting on a woodsy base note of essential oil of patchouli.

Thoughts; This wasn't too strong, but it was very nice. It wasn't too much of a floral scent, more woodsy which I liked

Rose Girls

Scent; Summer Snow Cone Margaritas

Scent Description; Blend of Blue Raspberry Slushie, Margarita, Lemonade, Paradise and Mango Sorbet

Thoughts; This is a scent I didn't think I would like, but it wasn't what I thought it would be. It was a sweet scent with a touch of sugar. The Lemonade was really the tartness that brought everything together.

Fire It Up Candles;

Scent; T Berry

Scent Description; Blue Raspberry Slushie mixed with Grape

Thoughts; I had this scent shot in one of my melting boxes, I assumed it was Triple Berry but after asking in the group I learned that Judi's husband Terry came up with this scent. It's seriously amazing and super strong. I will be needed much more of this in the future

Scent; Strabwerry Vanilla Blueberry

Scent Description; Just as it sounds

Thoughts; The Straweberry and Blueberry blended very nice together. There wasn't much of a vanilla scent with it. It was super strong and long lasting.

Scent; Warm Vanilla Sugar

Scent Description; a warm vanilla aroma with a musky back note.

Thoughts; This wasn't as strong as most of the scents are from Fire it Up. It was a very nice vanilla!

Scent; Strawberry Preserves

Scent Description; The wonderful aroma of sweet ripened strawberries with notes of raw sugar cane.

Thoughts; This was a really good strabwerry, it didn't smell fake or “green” like some do. It was strong but not over pouring. This was great!

Scent; Grape Cotton Candy

Thoughts; This was strong and soooo good!!!

Wicked Wax of the East;

Scent; Frankincense & Myrrh

Scent Description; A rich combination of olibanum, myrrh, patchouli, herbaceous woodsy pine, sheer musk, vanilla, and floral lilac notes.

Thoughts; This was from the advent box, it was a scent shot and I just couldn't seem to get it out of the container, my husband changed out all my warmers for me one day when I was gone and he happen to put this in. It was very nice, it wasn't too strong and it had a very pleasant scent. I have never had that with this scent

Scent; Candy Corn

Scent Description; A warm vanilla candy with top notes of butter with a slight down of almond.

Thoughts; All the other candy corn oil I've had in wax has smelled awful. This however was super nice and creamy.

Scent; Alien

Scent Description; Notes of bright melon and sparkling mandarin are mixed with orange blossom, star jasmine, and rose. A woody base is supplemented by vanilla and musk.

Thoughts; This was a scent I was never able to melt due to migraines. I melted this entire clam shell and not once did I receive a headace! I was very happy

Scent; Strawberry Shortcake

Scent Description; The aroma of buttery vanilla cake with notes of freshly sliced strawberries, with base notes of rich vanilla cream

Thoughts; I always worry about strawberry scents because they tend to sometimes be a “green” type and I don't like the smell of the leaves, I want juicy strawberries and this one did exactly what I like, it was super rich and creamy

Scent Description; A blend of cherries and marshmallow bomb

Thoughts; This had a chemical smell to me on cold so I was worried that I would smell that when it was warm, I didn't and this smell although not strong was a great scent

Thoughts; I need more. These two scents blended together so perfectly! It was very relaxing

Thoughts; This is one of my favorite blends from her. I haven't actually ordered in a very long time and received this either in a swap box or a RAOK. This wasn't as strong as I remember but it still smelled amazing

Scent; Scarlet's Bakery

Scent Description; This is a house blend; Cotton Candy, Cookies, Ice Cream, Coconut and Cherry

Thoughts; This is another one of my favorites. As with the other, this scent wasn't as strong as I remember but it still smelled very good and it definitely made me want more!

Scent; Wicked Cyclone

Scent Description; None listed on the web site, but this is a fruity type scent.

Thoughts; Although good, it wasn't very strong. This was preforms amazingly in a T-Light warmer though

Scent; Lavender Lemon Verbena

Scent Description; Bright citrus oils of lemon and orange enhance the refreshing scent of natural lemongrass and a herbal lavender

Thoughts; This was ok, it didn't seem to preform the best and the wax itself was a strange consistency.

Scent; Debutante

Scent Description; Macintosh apple, Pink Sugar (dupe) & pineapple

Thoughts; This was strong, I didn't get the apple, the pineapple seemed dominant but it all mixed together in a super fruity blend

Creative Enchantment

Scent; Fall Garden

Scent Description; A earthy relaxing blend of Sages, thyme, oakmoss, with ever so subtle background hints of pumpkin & lavender.

Thoughts; I didn't pick up pumpkin at all in this scent, it did smell really nice and all the scent blended together very nicely

Scent; Lavender Sage

Scent Description; Herbal Lavender on a soft background of sage

Thoughts; This was such a great calming blend. It wasn't very strong but it was strong enough to be able to take it all in

Scent; Mulberry Woods

Scent Description; Delicately sweet white Mulberry on a soft background of cedar and fir!

Thoughts; This scent is amazing. It's so “dark” but so very good. Even my husband decided that this is the best scent ever. It's very strong also, but not over powering, which is perfect!

Scent; Grapefruit Jasmine

Scent Description; True ruby red grapefruit blended delightfully with delicate jasmine

Thoughts; This wasn't my favorite scent, but my husband loved it. It threw very well and the grapefruit was dominant.

Scent; Berry Blast

Scent Description; A candy sweet Cherry, Raspberry mix

Thoughts; Yum Yum and way more yum. This is such a great blend. It's the perfect mix between fruit and candy

Thoughts; Love love love this scent. I can't get enough of it, I mean I'm sure I could if I only melted this everyday.

Scent Description; A clean cool crisp slightly minty blend! like fresh fallen snow

Thoughts; This scent wasn't for me, all I could smell was the mint. It did make my house smell nice but it is not one that I would purchase

Thoughts; This was good, I very much liked it. It wasn't the strongest VBN scent, but I still enjoyed it!
