Thoughts.

This movie starts at what you think is the end, then goes to the beginning. It's one of those that goes back and forth

I did get lost for a minute and had to ask, wait, is this what we just watched lol. I'm sure if I watched it again, I would fully understand and not get lost.

The story line itself was easy enough to understand and completely made sense. A different concept for a plot for sure.

CAUTION; Major Spoiler Alert

Plot Summary.

There isn't one listed but basically.

Michael Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) is a big-time marijuana grower and dealer who is trying to sell his business. He has farms all over but yet nowhere. He shows one potential buyer where one is. This farm gets robbed by some of Coaches (Collin Farrell) boys. The movie itself is being told by Fletcher (Hugh Grant) to Ray (Charlie Hunnam)

Michael is paying rich folks who are down on their luck to use some of their land for his farms. The reporter Fletcher has been following all the key players trying to figure out what's going on in order to write a story, however instead of going forward with the story he is attempting to blackmail by telling the story to Ray first to make sure he is correct with everything he has found
