Story Line.
Hart plans an innovative action film with unscripted, unexpected scenes to cement his legacy as the greatest. However, a blind spot leads him to fall victim to a vengeful plot from his past
Thoughts:
I had not watched the previously named series. The movie had pretty bad ratings but the previews looked decent, so we decided to give it a try. I like Kevin Hart for the most part so what the hell.
I can't say that I was disappointed, but it wasn't the best movie either. There were some very funny moments and some really dumb ones too.
The story line was decent, the acting was fine, and the action was decent. I love that movies incorporate action and comedy; it makes thing less serious.

The film opens with Kevin Hart and his agent or Producer (unsure of which) talking and eating. The restaurant is then stage robbed, where Kevin plays the “hero”. It was all a set up to prove that he can be an action star. It backfires.
Feeling sorry for himself he hops in the car of his assistant. During the ride, he fires his assistant and drops him off on Skid Row.
A short while later Kevin is seen meeting with someone who is talking about producing his movie. Kevin is tricked and a trank dart knocks him out. He wakes up tied up with a mad man trying to torture him. He is convinced that he's in a movie. While escaping he finds Jordan tied up. He unties her and explains that they are in a movie and it's all fake. When it becomes apart that it's real, Jordan fights and they two are able to get out safely.
The two walk to the office building, find Kevin's car and the office empty. They find a video tape and while watching it the phone rings. They then find a bomb and again escape. The fine Andre (The assistant) waiting in Kevin's car. The trio then attempt to get to Kevin's house where the find that it's been taken over. Not understanding what's going on they drive to Andre's house where his mother is waiting for him.
While Kevin is being taken care of his for his injuries, Andre and Jordan drive to Kevin's agent. There they find a Kevin impersonator and quickly figure out it's Kevin's stunt double Doug who Kevin fired because he wanted to do stunts himself.
Andre and Kevin head to Mr. 206 (John Cena) To be honest, at this point I don't remember why but it's quickly discovered that Mr. 206 was the torturer from the beginning. They escape and make a plan to catch Doug and get Kevin his life back.
Andre, Kevin, Jordan and Cynthia execute their plan and there's some action/comedy here.
Mr. 206 dies and Doug ends up prison. The end is at the same place where it started except Kevin now has his “squad”
