Thoughts;
The opening sequence is a little confusing. I was afraid at
first that this would a foreign film, the kind you have to read, to be honest,
and I don’t watch those. I prefer to watch and listen vs. Watch and read. None
of this is the case at all and later on the opening sequence is just letting
the viewer have a feel for what is going to go on.
Once Julia Stiles come in the movie plot starts making sense.
You can see where the movie is going and it is a little predictable. That
doesn’t mean that it isn’t good.
One thing I was super confused about is why, if both parents
are American, does their daughter Hannah have an English Accent? In the middle
of the movie, you do find this out, I just think that this should have been
explained before this point.
The movie itself was not at all slow moving, it moved at a
pretty fast pace and had both the creepy factor and the scare factor. All in
all it was pretty good, I must admit that I jumped a few times, even though I
knew something was coming!
