Pinterest Hack; Brushing Dolls Hair

My daughter has a Generican Girl Doll (a doll the same size as an American Girl Doll) who's hair was a mess, it was so bad my 7 year old referred to her as creepy.

Per Pinterest, if you mix Downey fabric softner with water and spray on the hair, it will brush pretty nice. I decided to try it out since there isn't a doll hospital to send these to.

I mixed less than a cap full to a squirt bottle half filled with just regular tap water, shook it up and went to work. It did about 45 minutes, and the doll lost hair in the process, but it worked!
