Thoughts;
My daughter and I are always looking for scary movies to
watch. Only one has been truly scary. While scrolling through Netflix we came
across “Don’t Blink” reading the description we both agreed, lets try it.
This movie starts out like most, friends are traveling
somewhere, all in separate cars. Of course they are going to the middle of
nowhere. Once they get to the lodge, there are cars but no people. They explore
the lodge and miss every clue that something is truly amiss. They then start to
put little pieces together, no animals, no other people and it just looks like
people left in a hurry.
Keeping in with the horror movie cliché, the gas pumps don’t
work and they don’t have enough gas to leave. This is the point of the movie
where people start to disappear. It’s all creepy to say the least.
The movie ends with one last person who finally was able to
call 911, she closes her eyes for just a second and then realizes that all the
noises around her have stopped, it’s then that she just gives in and closes her
own eyes, and disappears.
The movie itself was ok, it seems very left open for a
sequel. It was creep and the entire time you just want to know what is
happening, but you never get your answer.
