Thoughts;
This movie was amazing. It was just to the point of freaky
where you want it move faster. James McAvoy is amazing as the girl who plays
Claire.
We keep seeing flash backs of Claire’s past, which I’m not
sure I really understood. I think it has to do with her will to live based on
what she’s been through in her life. I really wish they would have touched on
this more. My favorite was the very end of the movie where Bruce Willis is
there and talks about “Mr. Glass” from un-breakable. That was an amazing
ending.
After they get kidnapped the girls wake up in a room, there
are two beds and a bathroom. They have no idea where they are or what they are
doing. The movie goes from here with the girls trying to escape one by one.
Towards the end of the movie when the Beast comes out is when the movie really
gets going. You see the girls trying to escape, the Doctor waking up and the “turning
of the beast”. It’s pretty amazing, you then find out that he has been living
in an abandon part of the zoo maintance area. Claire is the only one who lives
and I’m pretty sure they were pointing to the fact that she was not going home
with the uncle.
