Thoughts;
I truly do not understand how this movie even got a 4.8. This
was slow, dull and a little boring. Literally the last 5-10 minutes of this
movie is the only parts where there is any action.
Normally I don’t care for a ton of back story in a movie, but
this had none other than a couple left their house and all the stuff and just
left. The investigators were there on behalf of the insurance company, that’s
it!
We go through several nights of them sleeping in the house,
waking up to the door opening and the house shaking. They discover that the
back room is where the “ghost” won’t go, while they are packing to leave the
discover that a basement type area has been walled off; they go down and find a
room. There are scratch marks on the door and they see a mummified person,
chained in a chair. They call the police. The psychic states that the ghost was
protecting the house occupants from the chained lady in the basement. This is
when she attacks, the movie ends. Done, end of story.
This is all you need to know, because this is all that has
happened. There were no scary parts, not jump scares, nothing. I was very
disappointed.
